Mostly So I Don’t Forget to Look Into It…

In f#, type inference suffers badly when calling methods on an instance of a class initiated outside of the function in question.

I wonder if quotations would allow a general function "xx" to create functions "xxmethodname" such that:

xx -> instance.methodname -> xxmethodname

xxmethodname instance [args] = instance.methodname [args]

and if so how the type inference of the compiler would cope with it.

HR Departments

Seriously. Relatedly, it is seriously impressive that systems this comprehensively screwed up seem to still converge on producing acceptable work much of the time. Big companies manage to get us all fed and fly us around the world. That scares the bejeesus out of me. I have put my lives in the hands of someone who was selected by an HR department (assisted by, even worse, a union)

So true. I have never once started a new job and had the paper work handled correctly.
